Presentation: Trees and us

The group have produced a short PowerPoint presentation entitled Trees and Us, which shows:

  • The composition and aims of the group
  • What we have achieved so far and what we aim to do
  • The benefits of street trees, hedges and woodland for the environment, wildlife, the community, and for sheer enjoyment.
  • The role of trees in our history, literature and culture.

The presentation can last for between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the audience.

It will be pitched at the non-expert, but we hope that the talk will inspire groups or individuals to plant of new trees or identify sites!
